Ep. 447: Reshaping Your Identity After Injury - Bart Laemmel

At some point in the pursuit of our adventure sports, we will have an injury. As we get older those injuries and the slowing of our bodies can compile to limit our abilities drastically. Who are you as a person if you couldn't do your adventure sport(s) anymore? Are you willing to think about how much of your identity is wrapped in what you can achieve athletically?

Today's episode discusses the challenges and beauty that limitations can bring if we're willing to remain positive and look for opportunities to discover new passions. I hope you enjoy Bart's story about reshaping his identity and discovering new adventure sports as his body "directs" him.
