After an injury that kept her from skiing, and pretty much doing anything, for two years, Malou realized that her love wasn’t for racing on skis but for adventure in the wilderness. This ignited her passion for backcountry skiing in some of the most beautifully rugged places on Earth. 
After healing up, Malou was in pursuit of the best snow and backcountry skiing in the world. She left her small town in Sweden for Revelstoke, British Columbia, which is now her home.

Ep. 268: Running 1250 miles from Rome to Home with Bipolar Disorder - Dan Keeley

Dan Keeley is on a mission to raise awareness for depression and bipolar disorder by running 1250 miles self-supported from Rome to London. It's called Rome to Home. In the summer of 2012 he experienced a full-blown manic episode – an episode which culminated with him believing he was ‘the chosen one’ and preaching from the central lane of a major motorway in Italy at rush hour. What followed was a diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder, time spent in psychiatric wards both in Italy and the UK, and the inevitable crippling depression which found him wanting to take my his own life. It has been 5 years now and Dan is doing awesome! He has a new lease on life and is using it to its fullest. He had an accident in 2013 that landed him in the hospital just long enough to contemplate how he was spending his time in life. This started Lyndon on his 2 1/2 year journey called Races to Places where he rides his modified KTM 690 Rally around the world entering it into local rally races.
